In addition to its mobile router function, it also has a TV tuner.
By connecting this model to Wi-Fi, you will be able to watch TV even on smartphones and tablets that do not have TV functionality.
This app is a dedicated TV viewing app. By connecting a compatible device and smartphone, you can enjoy high-definition, full-segment terrestrial digital TV.
It supports "carrier aggregation" (CA), which enables communication by bundling two frequencies. You can enjoy ultra-high speed data communication with download speeds of up to 187.5Mbps.
Supports the high-speed Wi-Fi communication standard "IEEE 802.11 ac (5GHz)."
There is little radio interference, so communication is smooth without slowing down the speed. You can watch large videos comfortably.
Supports four frequency bands. High-speed multi-network, easy to connect in a wide area, even indoors.
Equipped with a touch screen, this mobile router offers simple and intuitive operability, just like operating a smartphone. Various settings are also easy to configure.
After turning on the power, the standby screen will start up in about 5 seconds.
You can use it immediately when you want to use it.
Equipped with a large-capacity 3,000mAh battery. Approximately 10 hours of continuous Wi-Fi communication*1, approximately 9 hours of full-segment broadcasting, and approximately 11 hours of one-segment broadcasting*2 are possible. You can enjoy as many programs as you want.

This product has been designed to comply with the technical standards *1 set by the government regarding the human absorption of radio waves, as well as the radio wave protection limits recommended by equivalent international guidelines. These international guidelines were established by the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP), which is in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO), and the limits include a sufficient safety margin for all users, regardless of their age or health condition.
National technical standards and international guidelines define the permissible value for radio wave protection as the Specific Absorption Rate (SAR), which represents the average amount of radio wave energy absorbed by the human body, and the permissible SAR value for data communications terminals is 2.0 W/kg.
The maximum SAR value for this product [Pocket WiFi® 502HW] during normal use as described in this instruction manual is 0.977W/kg *2. Although there may be slight differences in SAR depending on the individual product, all of them meet the allowable value. Data communication terminals are designed to have the minimum transmission power required for communication with mobile phone base stations, etc., so the SAR value is usually smaller when actually communicating. In general, the closer the distance from the base station, the smaller the output of the data communication terminal.
The World Health Organization has stated that "Numerous studies have been conducted over the past 20 years to assess whether mobile phones pose a potential health risk. To date, no adverse health effects have been established as being caused by mobile phone use."
