How to update software

When using this service, please be sure to keep your device software up to date.

Software version

The software version after the software update is 1.0.33.

Software update notice

  • ● If the software is already up to date, after you click "Execute" in step ⑥, it will check whether it is the latest software and display the message "The software you are using is the latest version. Please continue using it as is."
  • ● There are no communication charges for software updates (downloads).
  • ● We recommend that you perform software updates (downloads) in an area with good signal conditions (four antennas) and without moving.
  • ● Make sure the device has sufficient battery power remaining (4 battery icons).
  • ● Do not remove the USIM card (EM chip) or turn off the power while updating the software, as this may result in the update failing.
  • ● The software update (rewrite) takes approximately 5 minutes.
  • ● Software updates (downloads) cannot be performed in the following cases.
    • When you are out of range
    • ○ Software update (rewrite) in progress
  • ● Communication and other functions cannot be used while the software is being updated (rewritten).
  • ● When updating the software, your GL09P-specific information (such as model and serial number) will be automatically sent to the software update server. We will not use the sent information for any purpose other than software updates.
  • ● If the unit does not restart after the software update, press and hold the restart button for more than 3 seconds to restart the unit.
  • ● If the software update fails, you may not be able to operate the device at all. If this happens, we apologize for the inconvenience, but please contact us at the address listed here.
  • ● Any data you set before the software update will remain intact, but it is possible that data may be lost depending on the condition of the device (such as a malfunction).
