In order to use Osaifu-Keitai® compatible services, you must agree to the following conditions.
About Osaifu-Keitai® compatible services
- 1.Osaifu-Keitai® compatible services (hereinafter referred to as "Compatible Services") refer to services provided to our customers by each FeliCa compatible service provider (hereinafter referred to as "Service Provider").
- 2.To use the Compatible Services, you will need a device (hereinafter referred to as the "Compatible Device") that is equipped with a FeliCa chip (hereinafter referred to as the "IC Card") and is capable of using the Compatible Services, and you will need to access an app (hereinafter referred to as the "Compatible App") or website that is compatible with the Compatible Services.
- 3.To use the supported services, the customer must enter into a service agreement with each service provider who is responsible for providing the service.
- 4.When using a compatible service, please be sure to inquire about the content and terms of service of the service to each service provider and use it at your own discretion. Please note that we cannot guarantee the content and terms of service of the compatible service.
Data on IC cards
- 1.The customer is responsible for the use, management, and deletion of data on the IC card. Please note that we cannot guarantee the data on the IC card.
- 2.Based on the service usage contract concluded between the customer and each service provider, the service provider will create and manage the data required for the corresponding service on the customer's IC card.
- 3.Please note that we cannot transfer data on or reissue IC cards in any case, including repairing a malfunction of the compatible device, or for theft or loss.
- 4.Data on the IC card may be lost or altered due to a malfunction of the compatible device, etc. Please note that we cannot assume any responsibility for any damage suffered by customers due to the loss or alteration of this data.
- 5.Some service providers may offer support such as transferring data on an IC card to a new compatible device or reissuing the card to a compatible device after repairs (hereinafter referred to as "support for data transfer, reissue, etc.") in preparation for model changes, breakdowns, etc. When using a compatible service, please check with each service provider in advance about the availability of support for data transfer, reissue, etc. and the conditions for providing such support.
- 6.Please note that we shall not be liable for any damages incurred by you if you select a compatible service that does not provide support for transferring or reissuing data on your IC card, if you do not use support for transferring or reissuing data, or if the support you use is not properly carried out and data transfer or reissuance is not carried out.
- 7.When repairing a device compatible with this service or replacing the USIM card, you must erase the data on the IC card yourself, or you must consent to our company erasing the data on the IC card based on your request. Please note that we are not responsible for any damages incurred by you as a result of this data erasure.
- 8.If you change your phone model, phone number, or replace your USIM card, you may not be able to use the services you are currently using. Before carrying out such procedures, be sure to inquire with each service provider about how to handle the data on your IC card.
- 9.When transferring a compatible device, please delete or transfer the data on the IC card yourself in advance. Please note that we are not responsible for any damages incurred by customers as a result of not deleting or transferring the data on the IC card.
Theft and Loss
- 1.If your compatible device is stolen or lost, there is a risk that the data on the IC card may be used fraudulently, so please be careful to avoid theft or loss.
- 2.Please note that we will not be held liable for any damage suffered by you as a result of the unauthorized use of data on your IC card.
- 3.If your device is stolen or lost, we cannot disable the IC card functions. Please contact your service provider for information on what to do in the event of theft or loss.
- 4.Compatible devices are equipped with a remote lock function that can suspend IC cards. We recommend that you read the instruction manual for your compatible device and set the remote lock function before using compatible services. However, please note that using the remote lock function does not guarantee complete prevention of unauthorized use. Please also note that we cannot assume any responsibility even if unauthorized use cannot be prevented.
Information specific to IC cards
- 1.Depending on the compatible service, the unique IC card number may be notified from the service-compatible device to the service provider in order to identify the IC card installed in the customer's compatible device.
- 2.We may, as necessary and within the scope of the contract, notify the service provider of the unique number of your IC card and information regarding the complete erasure of all data on the IC card and the disposal of the IC card by us, in order for the service provider to provide the corresponding service.
About compatible apps and sites provided by service providers
- 1.If you change your phone number or replace your USIM card, you may not be able to use or delete any of the compatible apps or sites you are using. In this case, we will need to erase all data from your IC card. Please note that we cannot be held responsible for any damages caused to you as a result of erasing the data from your IC card.
- 2.Communication charges may be incurred when using compatible services, downloading compatible apps, or using compatible apps or sites that have network connection functions.
