4. Data Acquisition

Ugokumade uses "Google Fit API" and "Google Analytics for Firebase" provided by Google LLC. (hereinafter referred to as "Google") in accordance with the default privacy policy. In addition, foreground services are used to execute some functions.

4-1. "Google Fit API"

Until you move, we use the "Google Fit API" provided by Google to measure steps.
The development and operation of this application will comply with the "Google Fit Developer and User Data Policy" established by Google.

We will not use user data obtained through the Google Fit API for purposes prohibited by the Google Fit Developer and User Data Policy (such as selling or using user data for advertising purposes).

We will clearly explain to users the breakdown of user data obtained through the "Google Fit API," the reasons for obtaining it, and how it will be used.

• [Reason for acquisition] We collect step count data in order to calculate the number of steps, walking distance, and calories burned, which are the most important indicators for preventing frailty.

4-1-3. Protection of user data

User data obtained through the "Google Fit API" will be processed securely in accordance with specified security rules.

4-1-4. Deleting user data

User data obtained through "Google Fit API" is stored only on your smartphone. Therefore, you can delete user data obtained through "Google Fit API" by deleting this app.

4-1-5. Requesting appropriate permissions

We will not request any user data that is not necessary for the use of Ugokuma, nor any permissions necessary to obtain user data.

4-2. Purpose of Acquisition and Use of User Data by Information Collection Module

We collect and use user data through the following information collection modules:
An information collection module is a program provided by a third party that is independent of the app itself that analyzes app usage.

5. Foreground Services

The following foreground services will be used until the app starts moving.

5-1. Acquiring past step count data

Get past step count data using Google Fit API

• ・Trigger- When you open the app's home screen - When the app is not running in the background, it will automatically start once after 3:00 AM

5-2. Acquiring step count data

Get user step count data using Google Fit API

• ・Trigger- After the initial application setup, the foreground service is always running (except for exceptions controlled by the OS)

5-3. Daily backup process

Save data within the app as a standard OS backup

• ・Trigger- When you open the app's home screen - When the app is not running in the background, it will automatically start once after 3:00 AM

5-4. Processing after restoring from standard OS backup

Save data restored using the OS standard backup to the app's database

• ・Trigger-When you start the app for the first time after restoring it using the OS standard backup

The data collected by this app is only non-personally identifiable customer information from "Google Analytics for Firebase." Therefore, deleting this app will revoke your consent to the privacy policy and stop collecting data from "Google Analytics for Firebase."
