What is the Trade-In Program?

Customers who sign up for the service as a new subscriber, switch from another company (including SoftBank), or upgrade their device will be able to trade in their previous device and receive PayPay Points according to the model they trade in.

!Those who cannot apply through the online store

To apply for the trade-in program at the online store, you will need to receive the shipping kit via identity verification. In the following cases, please apply for the trade-in program at a store that offers in-store collection services.

    • *The person who applied must receive the item.
    • *When applying for the trade-in program, we will conduct identity verification in accordance with the Secondhand Articles Dealings Act.
      Please prepare a photo ID.

Benefits (PayPay Points)

PayPay points equivalent to the trade-in bonus amount will be credited to the PayPay account you registered as the recipient.

  • *PayPay points cannot be transferred or withdrawn.
  • *PayPay app settings are required to receive PayPay points.

Receive the device delivery kit and return the device

To the address of the contract holder who applied,"Device delivery kit" will be sent separately from the devicePlease check the necessary information and return it to us. Please note that your trade-in application will be complete only when you send the "Device Shipping Kit" containing the necessary documents and your trade-in device.

Once the assessment is complete, you will be notified via SMS.

*If trade-in is not possible, the item will be returned.

Notes
  • *Once a trade-in application has been made, it cannot be cancelled or the applicable model cannot be returned.
  • *If we determine that the trade-in device is "damaged" (referring to any of symptoms ① to ③), the reward amount will be reduced. In this case, we will not be able to accept requests for the return of the trade-in device, so please agree to this before applying.
  • *The bonus amount stated in the "Damaged" column in the "List of Eligible Models and Bonus Amounts" table will be applied.
    Please note that the examples of each symptom are merely examples and may include other symptoms.
    Symptom 1: Damage to the glass or case
    (example)
    • ・Cracks in the glass or case
    • ・The camera or buttons are damaged or defective
    Symptom 2: LCD display abnormality/touch panel malfunction
    (example)
    • ・Liquid leakage and burn-in on the LCD
    • ・Touch panel operation is not possible
    • There are vertical and horizontal lines
    • The screen is dark and the text is unreadable
    Symptom 3: Deformity
    (example)
    • The housing is deformed.
  • *Trade-ins are subject to conditions specified by our company.
  • * Only one device is eligible for trade-in per eligible application.
  • *For PayPay points, you can choose to either trade them in at the store or have them sent directly to you via a later delivery kit.
  • *When applying for the trade-in program, we will conduct identity verification in accordance with the Secondhand Articles Dealers Act (for both in-store trade-ins and direct shipments).

  • *The application period of the campaign may change depending on the timing of the appraisal.
  • *This offer can only be applied once to the same phone number. In addition, this offer does not apply to contract renewals within three months of canceling your contract with us.
