There are two ways to check the model name/model number: you can log in to My Y!mobile and check, or you can check on the device itself.
How to check on My Y!mobile
After logging in to My Y!mobile, if you are using a computer, click "Confirm contract details" to check.
For smartphones and mobile phones, please check the contract details by clicking on "Contract Confirmation/Changes" in the upper right corner.

How to check on your device
There are two ways to check on the device itself: you can check from the settings icon, or you can check the model number printed on the device itself.
For iPhone
Check from the settings icon
You can check the "model name" by starting up iPhone and going to the settings icon.
- Tap the Settings icon on the home screen
- Select "General"
- Check the model name in "Information"
Check the model number printed on the device itself.
You can check the model number starting with "A" on the bottom back of the unit.

For smartphones and tablets
- Tap the settings icon on the device
- Select "System" or "About device"
- Check the model number in "Device Information" or "Model Number"
For mobile phones
- Press the center button and select "Settings"
- Select "Other"
- Check the model number in "Device Information" - "Model Number"
Check the model number printed on the device itself.
The model number is printed on the front, back, and side of the device. Please check the information printed on the device.
- * If there is no printing on the front or back of the model, please check the printing on the main body of the model after removing the battery pack.
- * The Nexus 5 and Nexus 6 do not have the model number printed on them. Please check the model number from the settings icon.
Pocket WiFi®, data communication, and other cases
Check the model number printed on the device itself.
The model number is printed on the front and back of the device. Please check the information printed on the device.
Check the printing on the battery pack (if the battery pack can be removed)
Remove the battery pack and check the "Device Name" printed on the device body.
Check using the device (if the battery pack cannot be removed)
Check the "Model name" under "Device information" on the display
