Cancellation Site Terms of Use

These terms and conditions (hereinafter referred to as "these Terms") apply to a subscriber (hereinafter referred to as "Subscriber") of a communications service contract with SoftBank Corp. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") when the subscriber cancels the communications service contract set out in Article 1 on the Company's cancellation reception site (hereinafter referred to as "this Site").
1. About this site
(1) This Site is a site where subscribers can cancel Y!mobile communication service contracts (excluding the services that are not covered as specified separately on this Site; hereinafter the covered services are referred to as "Communication Services").
(2) The hours for accepting cancellations on this Site are as follows:
Accepted 24 hours a day (applications received after 8pm will be processed the next day)
(3) When canceling a communication service on this site, the subscriber must agree to these terms and conditions for each line. Logging in to this site is deemed to be the subscriber's agreement to these terms and conditions.
2. Login and User Identification
(1) When logging in to this site, we will identify you and carry out the login process using one of the following methods.
(A) Identification method using line authentication
(a) A method of identifying a user by using a combination of a "mobile phone number (contract line number)" (hereinafter referred to as "phone number") and a "password"
(C) A method of storing the information identified in (A) or (B) above in the browser and identifying the user based on the stored information.
(D) Other methods provided by the Company
(2) The above methods will be provided in the most appropriate way depending on the communication environment and usage conditions.
(3) If the Company is able to identify the Contractor using the above methods, the Company will regard the login as having been made by the Contractor himself/herself. Even if the Contractor incurs damages due to an unauthorized login, the Company shall not be liable for such damages unless the damages are due to reasons attributable to the Company.
(4) If an incorrect phone number/password is entered more than a certain number of times, we may take measures to suspend your login to this site.
(5) We shall not be liable for any damages or disadvantages incurred as a result of unauthorized login to this Site due to loss, theft, or unauthorized use of a phone or password.
3. Cancellation on this website
(1) We will identify the subscriber in the manner set forth in the preceding article and process the cancellation of the communication service for that subscriber. In cases where the subscriber of the communication service is different from the user of this site, etc., the cancellation shall be the responsibility of the subscriber himself/herself.
(2) A subscriber may not be able to cancel the contract on this website if any of the following conditions apply:
(a) If there is a false statement, error or omission in the registration or notification of cancellation
(b) Any other reason that the Company deems it inappropriate to cancel the contract on this website.
(3) After you submit a request for cancellation of the applicable Line Contract on this Website, the applicable Line Contract will be cancelled at the point in time when our company accepts this request.
(4) You will not be able to use communication services after cancellation.
(5) Once your application has been accepted, it cannot be cancelled.
4. Cancellation email
(1) The User agrees that after the cancellation process is completed, the Company will send a cancellation completion email to the email address registered on this Website at the time of cancellation.
(2) The email address registered at the time of cancellation may be used for the purposes set forth in paragraph 1 above, to contact the subscriber if there is an error in the information registered at the time of cancellation, to inform the subscriber of various services and products provided by our company or other companies, information on special benefits, and to request various surveys, etc.
5. Prohibited acts
If a Subscriber falls under any of the following items, the Company may suspend or terminate the Subscriber's use of the Site.
(a) Submitting false information to the Company regarding the registration or notification of cancellation.
(i) Any act that causes or may cause disadvantage or damage to the Company or a third party.
(c) Any act that interferes with or is likely to interfere with our business activities.
(E) In addition to the above, any act that violates or is likely to violate laws, regulations, these Terms and Conditions, or public order and morals.
6. Disclaimer
Except in cases where there is willful misconduct or gross negligence on the part of the Company, the Company shall not be liable for any damage suffered by a Subscriber or a third party arising from the use of this Site, or from the inability to use this Site.
7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
The governing law of this Agreement shall be the laws of Japan. In the event of a lawsuit between the Contractor and the Company in relation to this Site or this Agreement, the Tokyo District Court shall be the court of first instance with exclusive jurisdiction.
