How to check your S-ID (authentication ID) on My SoftBank
- 2. Enter the mobile phone number registered in "Mobile Phone Number" and tap "Send"
- *The mobile phone number you need to enter is the phone number you set as your "daytime contact" when you applied for the contract.
- *If you have set up a landline number, written confirmation is required.
- 3. "SMS has been sent to your registered mobile phone number" is displayed
- *If you do not receive an SMS within 5 minutes, please contact chat support.
Examples of when SMS is not delivered
- - You have set your "Daytime Contact" to a family member's phone number or another phone number.
- * In this case, an SMS will be sent to the mobile phone you have set up.

- * If you have notifications from us set to be sent by mail, you can change it to SMS so that you receive them. Changes can be made through chat support.

How to confirm using the written notice of commencement of use
- *If you have registered a mobile phone number as your contact phone number, we will send you an SMS with instructions on how to start using the service.
- *If you have changed your password, you will need to reset it as we will not be able to confirm it.

The "Guide to Starting Use" document will be sent to you within one week to ten days after you apply for a contract, or after the construction date has been confirmed.
The delivery address will be your registered address.

How to check using the activation notification (SMS)
The "Start Service Information" SMS will be sent approximately two business days after you apply for the contract.
The delivery address will be your registered daytime contact phone number.
If the daytime contact number registered is not a mobile number, we will only send you written information.
- *If there are any errors in your application, SMS delivery may be delayed.
- 1. Tap the URL beginning with "http" in the text of the SMS
- * For customers using phones other than SoftBank, the call will be sent from "0800-111-2009."

Verification by identity document
For family members living together
Please prepare identification documents for each contract holder that can verify that they have the same address.
For family members living apart
One of the following documents is required:
- If the parties have the same surname, only "1. Identification documents for each contract holder" will be accepted.
- In the case of different surnames, we will accept ``2. Document verifying that you are family members'' or ``3. Health insurance card with the names of each family member listed on one page.''

- *Original identification documents must be presented, but if there are family members who are not visiting the store, copies of the identification documents for the relevant person will be accepted.
Documented verification of same-sex partnership
These include certificates, copies of affidavits, and receipts issued by each local government, which include the following conditions:
- The subject is listed on the same certificate
- The name of the person in question matches the information in the application
- If your local government issues a receipt, you will also need one
- *Names vary depending on the local government.
Verification by health insurance card
The conditions for health insurance cards that can be used as family verification documents are as follows:
- The names of your family members must be listed on your insurance card
- The date of issue must be stated
- If there is an expiration date, it must be within the expiration date.
- ※ Regarding confirmation using the "Remote Area Insurance Card"
- If all family members who will be enrolled are listed, one form will be accepted.
- If not all family members are listed, each person's remote health insurance card and identification document are required.
How to confirm using the "Guide to starting use" (written document)
- *If you have registered a mobile phone number as your contact number, we will send you an SMS with instructions on how to start using the service.
The document will be sent in an envelope like the one below. You can check the red framed part of the document.
SoftBank Hikari
The "Information on how to get started" document will be sent to your registered shipping address.
We will ship your order in the shortest time possible, within 3 days of your application, after the construction date has been confirmed.


SoftBank Air
Your Air Terminal will be shipped within one week to ten days after your application, or after your application review has been completed if you would like to receive your Air Terminal later.

How to check using the "Guide to starting service" (SMS)
The "Information on how to start using the service" SMS will be sent to your registered contact "mobile phone number".
Your order will be delivered within 2 business days.
- *If there are any errors in your application details, SMS delivery may be delayed.
- *The actual product may differ depending on the shipping time and service applied for.

- If the contract holder for Y!mobile service and the fixed-line communication service are different, you will need to submit the following documents.
- If you apply through My Y!mobile, you will need an "S-ID" for a fixed-line service or a "Yahoo! JAPAN ID."
- If you apply at a shop, you will need your SoftBank Air or SoftBank Hikari application number (14 digits) or customer ID.
- * For cable line, Hikari de Talk S (cable line), and NURO Hikari Denwa (cable line), you will need your phone number or application control number (12 digits).
- You cannot apply for the service at the same time as signing the contract via the PayPay mini app, so please apply via My Y!mobile after signing the contract.
