Information on how to report spam emails

As part of our efforts to combat spam, Y!mobile has set up a spam reporting desk. We ask for your cooperation in forwarding any spam emails you receive to the reporting desk.
We take strict measures against subscribers who are found to be sending spam emails based on information provided by customers.

Spam reporting desk and forwarding method

You can report spam mail received on your Y Y!mobile mobile phone or spam mail received from your Y!mobile mobile phone by forwarding it to the reporting desk.

Forwarding method 1: If you receive spam emails addressed to "MMS (@ymobile.ne.jp)"

  • *We accept forwarding from "MMS (@ymobile.ne.jp)".

Please forward the spam email to the spam reporting desk.

  • * The information you report may be disclosed to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and other relevant organizations in order to implement measures required by law. In addition, in order to share information with the aim of effective countermeasures, it may be disclosed to third parties such as other mobile phone and URL filtering companies. If you do not wish for your information to be disclosed in this way, please refrain from forwarding it to our reporting desk.

Forwarding method 2: If you receive spam from a phone number (SMS, MMS)

Please enter the "spam sender's phone number" and "date received" separated by a comma at the beginning of the email body, and then forward the email directly from Y!mobile mobile phone on which you received it.

Forwarding method 3: If you are using a mobile phone from another company and receive spam from "MMS (@ymobile.ne.jp)"

ワイモバイル携帯電話以外で、ワイモバイル携帯電話からの迷惑メールを受信した場合は、メール本文の先頭に「迷惑メール送信元のメールアドレス」「受信日」をカンマ「,」で区切って入力し、メールを受信したワイモバイル以外の携帯電話から迷惑メール申告窓口「stop@meiwaku.softbank.co.jp」へ転送してください。

Forwarding method 4: If you receive spam emails addressed to your "Y!mobile mail address (@yahoo.ne.jp)"

  • Based on information provided by customers, Y!mobile implements strict measures, such as suspending service and terminating contracts, for subscribers who are confirmed to be sending spam emails from Y!mobile mobile phones, in accordance with the terms and conditions of their contracts.
  • Please note that we do not accept emails containing incorrect information, emails containing defamatory or libelous content, or email newsletters that you have signed up to receive.
  • Please note that we are unable to respond to each email we receive.
  • For spam emails from mobile phones other than Y!mobile, please contact the relevant mobile phone company.
  • When forwarding an email, please forward it with the "Fw:" that is automatically added to the subject.
  • For models that have a spam mail reporting function, you can leave the body of the email as is when forwarding it.
  • We currently do not accept reports sent via email addresses other than those provided by each mobile phone carrier.

Verifying email header information
You can view header information such as the email address of the spam sender and the transmission route on your computer. Use this to identify the sender of spam or to consult with the spam consultation center.
