Slowing down or canceling communication speed

Regarding slowing communication speeds

If the amount of data communication used in a given month exceeds a certain amount according to your rate plan, your data communication speed will be slowed down until the end of the billing month as follows.

  • * Simple S and Smartphone Basic Plan S have a maximum sending and receiving speed of 300 kbps, Simple M/L and Smartphone Basic Plan M/R have a maximum speed of 1 Mbps, and other rate plans have a maximum speed of 128 kbps.

You can restore normal speeds by purchasing additional storage using one of the methods below.

    You can check and change it on My Y!mobile.

    You can set this at the customer center (automated voice guidance).

  • Depending on the model you are using and the status of your contract, you may not be able to complete the procedure via My Y!mobile or the automated voice guidance.
  • In addition to the above, we may implement restrictions on communication speeds to ensure that all customers can use our service smoothly.
