Restrict access to sites inappropriate for minors

More and more families are giving their children mobile phones so that they can contact each other in emergencies or when they return home, and they are becoming an indispensable item for communication between parents and children.
To allow your children to use convenient mobile phones without worry, our Web Safety Service offers access restriction services according to the target age.
(We use the "Web Security Service" provided by SoftBank.)

  • You can access children's content approved by SoftBank.
  • You can also access the Disaster Message Board.
  • You can also access communication sites *1 as long as they are designed with children in mind.
  • Specified restricted site categories You can access everything else.
  • With Weak Web Restrictions Plus, you can also access some other websites *2.
Restricted sites You will not be able to access any sites other than those permitted.   • When using Wi-Fi, the Web Security Service cannot be used for communications using https or VPN (such as Google One VPN).
  • If you are using iOS 15 or later and you turn on the private relay of iCloud+ provided by Apple, you will not be able to use filtering by the "Web Safety Service." If you wish to use the "Web Safety Service," please turn off the private relay.
    In addition, if you are a customer who only uses the "Web Security Service" and you turn on private relay, we ask that you use the "Anshin Filter" which has a more effective filtering effect.
  • ※1The target is communication sites that are classified as "Level 1 to 3 consideration for children's use" based on NetSTAR Co., Ltd.'s URL list classification criteria.
  • ※2Some communication sites that are widely used internationally, such as X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, and KakaoTalk.

How to cancel the Web Safety Service

Cancellation of the Web Security Service can only be done at Y!mobile shops. To cancel, the contract holder (age 18 or over) must come to the shop, or if the contract holder is under the age of 18, a legal representative (parent, etc.) must come to the shop and submit the Legal Representative's Consent Form for the Web Security Service and a Cancellation Application Form.

Notes regarding paid content you are using

If you subscribe to the Web Security Service, you may no longer be able to access sites that contain paid content that you have previously used.
In this case, even if you have paid the information fee, you may not be able to obtain the content, or you may not be able to cancel (withdraw from) paid content.
If you sign up for the Web Safety Service, please cancel your subscription to any monthly subscription content that is subject to restrictions in advance.
Please note that after subscribing to filtering services, you may need to cancel your subscription from your computer, even if the content is not subject to restrictions.

Notice regarding interruption of access during maintenance

Please note that if you configure the Web Safety Service, all access to the web will be suspended during maintenance of the Web Safety Service.
